1977-1990<\/h4>\n

When he founded Jersey Lomellina<\/strong> in the mid-1970s, Giuseppe Colnaghi<\/span> was quick to perceive a new challenge: to move beyond the traditional circular knit fabrics of the time and create a more versatile textile product.<\/span><\/p>\n

His intuition, however, was ahead of its time, as the circular frames used in those years were not compatible with elastomers so he and his collaborators searched for a way to modify the machinery and together turn this pioneering vision<\/strong> into reality. <\/span><\/p>\n

An incredible team effort that changed the circular knitting market forever and led to the creation of the first circular stretch fabrics<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n \n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n\n <\/section>\n\n\n

1990-TODAY<\/h4>\n

From the 1990s onwards, the company took a further step forward, introducing the production of stretch microfibre fabrics to offer enhanced softness and performance.<\/p>\n

Today, at Jersey Lomellina, we specialise in the production of circular-knit stretch fabrics<\/b> for underwear, swimwear, sportswear, athleisure and apparel\u2014yet we continue to look ahead.<\/p>\n
