FABRICS MADE FROM REGENERATED FIBRES: MATERIALS, PERFORMANCE, APPLICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Regenerated fibres make it possible to recover waste materials and transform them into new resources for textile production. They are an increasingly popular solution in the development of sustainable performance fabrics for activewear, swimwear and urbanwear, where material quality, performance and aesthetics all need to work together.<\/p>\n

RECYCLED OR REGENERATED NYLON: WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE? <\/h4>\n

Recycled nylon and regenerated nylon are often used as synonyms, but they refer to different processes and source materials.<\/p>\n

Recycled nylon fabrics are made using nylon fibre obtained by recovering industrial manufacturing waste (pre-consumer) or discarded finished products (post-consumer, such as old carpets, fishing nets or textiles), which are cleaned and transformed into a new polymer or yarn. Regenerated nylon, on the other hand, is produced through a specific process that returns nylon to its original polymer state, removing impurities and creating a yarn with exactly the same quality and performance as virgin nylon.<\/p>\n

FROM REGENERATED FIBRES TO FABRIC: QUALITY AND CERTIFICATIONS<\/h4>\n

The use of regenerated fibres does not necessarily alter the requirements a technical fabric must meet: handfeel, aesthetic appeal, stretch and performance must satisfy the same design standards.<\/p>\n

Subjected to stringent quality controls, Jersey Lomellina Renew fabrics are certified to OEKO-TEX\u00ae STANDARD 100, OEKO-TEX\u00ae RECYCLED and GRS standards, and are developed to offer a wide range of applications.<\/p>\n

One example is<\/span> Renew Style<\/a><\/u><\/span>, made with 90% polyamide that is 100% regenerated from pre-consumer and post-consumer materials. Compact, lightweight and two-way stretch, it offers excellent coverage and fit, making it ideal for comfortable sports T-shirts, as well as underwear and swimwear with a rich, matt look.<\/span><\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n \n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n\n <\/section>\n\n\n
