Fabrics are defined as circular knits when they are produced on circular knitting looms. The stitches are positioned horizontally one next to the other, and the fabric can be unknitted by unravelling the free end of the yarn.
 
Most JL fabrics can be produced in white specifically prepared for printing. For precise, detailed information about printing on solid colour fabrics please contact your nearest area sale representative.
 
All JL fabrics are suitable for garments produced by ultrasound cutting and without seams.
 
Our Premium fabric represents the new frontier in circular knitting, perfect for the creation of free cut underwear, invisible under clothes.

Our fabrics are tested with special equipment such as the Swick 1.5 kg Dynamometer Swick 1.5 kg. In our technical specifications we indicate and guarantee the tolerances of each fabric’s stretch values.
 
JL recommends that preliminary test are always carried out before a garment is made up in order to check the colour combination. Colour fastness values are indicated on each colour card. JL recommends to pay special attention to these data and does not recommend a colour combination when the fastness values of washing, water and sea water are lower than 4/5. JL laboratories have developed a particular version of black called Blackline which guarantees perfect combinability with all colours, including white.
 
Yes, they are Oeko-tex certified. The Oeko-tex label guarantees that our fabrics do not contain or release substances that are harmful to human health: they are certified as being suitable for contact with the skin. The requirements and limits to be respected are continuously updated on the basis of the latest medical-scientific findings.
 
Jersey Lomellina fabrics rated as UPF 50+ guarantee the maximum possible protection by elasticized fabrics against UV rays. They are rated UPF 50+ by ARPANSA (Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency – a Federal government agency).

No. Jersey Lomellina has in-house workshops for the production and inspection of its fabrics. Each stage of production is carried out to high quality standards, from initial checking of the yarn to final inspection of the finished fabric.
