Green Vision: looking towards the future!

Carvico Group is one step ahead in terms of environmental awareness, one of the biggest issues for modern industry: it is increasingly looking to achieve company growth, not through economic factors, but through the respect of the environment and its natural resources, for a development that is as eco-friendly as possible.

In recent years, the results obtained from working in this way have placed Carvico Group at the top of the league tables, both in Italy and internationally, for respecting and protecting the environment. 

Pivotal points of the Carvico Group Environmental Policy are: compliance with regulations in force, prevention and reduction of pollution, protection and preservation of green spaces (owned or otherwise), the creation of awareness amongst staff on the correct environmental approach.
 

The first steps taken in this environmental direction occurred around the same time as the creation of Carvico Group: these years were dedicated to creating a perfect balance with the surrounding area's ecosystem, with Jersey Lomellina SpA and Carvico SpA located in Carvico (Bergamo) and Eurojersey SpA in Caronno Pertusella (Varese).

More specifically, here are some examples of business practices that show Carvico Group's commitment to care for the environment and consideration for the region:

• Planting of their corporate headquarters, both inside and outside, and conservation of green spaces;

• Treatment of water used in various production processes that belong to the activities of the Group’s companies;

• Monitoring the release of gas emissions into the atmosphere.

But Carvico Group's “Green Vision” does not stop there: everyday new initiatives are taken to make the Group always a bit more "Green".
