Glossary

A number of terms used in the circular knitting industry and many other acronyms and technical expressions are used on the Jersey Lomellina SpA site that may not be familiar.

STRETCH MEASURED BY A DYNAMOMETER

Test that assesses the percent elongation of a fabric subjected to a set load force.

STAIN RESISTANT

Fabric undergoes a special treatment, avoiding stain forming.

SOFT

Soft fabric, pleasant to the touch.

SCREEN PRINTING

Printing process involving the allocation of the printing dyes on fabric through a screen.
